Guest Lockers

Large bags, briefcases, suitcases, laptops, or similar items are not permitted in the casino. Guest lockers are available for hire in two locations in the undercroft area near the escalators going up to the Casino entries.

Terms & Conditions

Use of Lockers

Locker services are available for patron use only.

By using these lockers, you agree to the below Terms and Conditions and those printed on the signage at the locker location at Metropol Casino entry and Plaza Casino entry (which may be changed or replaced from time to time).

In the event of any inconsistency these Terms and Conditions prevail.

Items that must not be placed in lockers

Bags, packages and other items containing articles of a perishable nature, unsealed containers, bottles or cans of liquor or other dangerous, noxious, offensive or illegal items or substances must not be placed in the lockers.

Inspection of lockers

Crown reserves the right to inspect the contents of any locker if it believes that items have been stored in the locker in contravention of these Terms and Conditions. The operators of the lockers, VLocker, also reserve the right to inspect contents of any locker.

Locker fees

Locker hire is for a maximum period of 24 hours. Rates are $10.00 (small), $15.00 (medium), or $20.00 (large) for a 24-hour period. Beyond 24 hours, a pro-rata daily rate applies. The lockers accept card payment only; cash payment is not accepted. Crown is not responsible for refunds of the hiring fee. A refund of the initial hire amount will be provided by VLocker if there is a proven mechanical or electrical fault with the locker system. Locker operation

Lockers are secured by utilising the touch screen display at each pay point. The pay point screen will allocate a locker number and PIN. Lockers are hired for a period of 24 hours at a time. If property remains in the locker for longer than 24 hours, further payment will be required.

Abandoned property

Items left in lockers for more than 7 days will be regarded as abandoned property and transferred offsite to a third-party service provider, Pack & Send. Owners of abandoned items are required to contact Crown Rewards at 0456735339 (available 7 days a week, 09:00-18:00) to confirm the location of their items. Abandoned items will be stored by Pack & Send for thirty (30) days. Items containing jewellery and watches will be stored for three (3) calendar months (Specified Period). Any such items not collected within the Specified Period will be donated to a charity of Crown’s choice. If the owner contacts Pack & Send within the Specified Period, the item will be made available for an additional seven (7) days from the date of contact. Patrons can arrange with Pack & Send to either pick up the item from Pack & Send's premises or have it posted to them. Pack & Send may charge a fee to collect an item and will charge postage and insurance costs to post an item.

Liability

Each item is placed in the lockers at the risk of the user. Subject to law, Crown and VLocker will not be liable for injury caused to any person (including death or loss) or damage to any property arising in connection with their use of the locker services. Patrons agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crown and VLocker for loss or damage whatsoever and howsoever caused by their act or omission.
