Who are the authorised ticket sellers?

The authorised ticket seller for MJ at Crown Theatre Perth is Ticketmaster.

TodayTIX is the official digital partner for on the day Rush tickets (via TodayTix app) of MJ along with authorised online travel agent Headout.

If you attend MJ with a ticket purchased via an unauthorised re-seller such as Viagogo, Ticketbis, eBay, Gumtree, Tickets Australia or otherwise, you may be refused entry to MJ.

In WA, it is an offence to resell a ticket for more than its original cost, plus 10 per cent. For more information visit WA Consumer Protection. Crown Theatre Perth is under no obligation to honour tickets which are deemed invalid for any reason, and you may be refused entry.

How much do tickets cost?

Ticket prices for MJ vary by performance, seat location, and during peak periods such as public and school holidays.

Ticket prices start from $70, and for the best value tickets, consider midweek evening performances outside of holiday periods.

How many tickets can I buy?

The purchase of standard tickets is limited to 10 per transaction for Perth. All orders will be reviewed for duplicate accounts, bots, or other means being used to circumvent the 10-standard ticket limit for Perth. Fraudulent ticket orders may be cancelled without notice.

Group booking options are available for purchases for groups of 8 or more for Perth.

Why the limit?
The ticket limit is in place to allow as many people as possible the opportunity to purchase tickets for MJ.

How do I make a group booking?

Groups prices apply for 8+ people on selected performances of MJ in Perth. For more details on groups please visit here.

Group prices vary depending on the dates, sessions and performance period (Peak, Off-peak, Value). School group discounts are available for select performances and sections.

Is there an age recommendation or production warnings?

The show is recommended for ages 8 years and up.

All persons aged under 16 years must be accompanied and sat next to the accompanying adult.

All persons, regardless of age, must have a valid ticket. Patrons under 2 years of age are admitted free and must remain on the lap of a parent/guardian. Babes in arms tickets are available from the ushering staff at the doors or the box office on the day of the performance.

Please note this production contains mild language, mild physical violence, themes of drug use, strobing, haze & fog and video footage of pyrotechnics.

Can I exchange my tickets?

We know plans can change, so we have created a flexible exchange policy for MJ. You can book with peace of mind knowing that your tickets can be exchanged up to 7 days prior to the original start time subject to the Terms and Conditions below.

Tickets may only be exchanged for performances within the same venue and season.

Exchanges must be made no later than 7 days prior to the start time of your original ticketed performance.

Only 1 exchange per event will be allowed.

A per ticket exchange fee of $10.00 applies to a maximum of $30.00 per exchange transaction.

Tickets may be exchanged for any other single performance on sale at time of exchange, subject to seat availability, blackout dates, sold-out performances and other restrictions. Exchanges may not be made for the same performance.

Exchanges will only be made for tickets purchased through the authorised ticket seller for the venue. Tickets purchased via third party providers are subject to their exchange policies, we recommend contacting them directly.

Exchanges will be valued at the original face value of the ticket purchased. Additional payments may apply if choosing a performance or price level that costs more than the original ticket value, or if original ticket value was from an originally discounted ticket into a performance with no discounts available.

New special offers may not be applied to exchanged tickets.

Exchanges may not be made to reduce the total number of tickets originally purchased.

For group sales, please contact your groups representative. This exchange policy does not apply to tickets purchased through the Ticketmaster Groups department.

Upon exchange, original tickets will be voided and will not allow access into the performance. Customers must present newly issued tickets for entry into the performance.

Complimentary tickets and resold tickets are not eligible for exchange.

Other restrictions may apply. Exchange policy may change or be revoked without notice.

Refunds or exchanges will be not permitted for arriving late or missing the show due to changes in personal circumstances.

Ticket insurance is available to customers at time of purchase.

What does Restricted View mean?

You may be unable to see the entire performance from the specified seat. Some elements of the production may be obstructed due to the position of the seat on the extreme sides of the auditorium.

Is there accessible seating available?

Yes! Wheelchair and attendant seating can be purchased online, wheelchair suitable areas are indicated on the interactive map with the use of the wheelchair symbol.

Patrons that require companion card or have other accessible requirements can follow the steps here. Companion cards tickets are only available for collection from the box office and will be issued upon presentation of the valid companion card.  Companion cards must be identified at time of purchase and cannot be applied retrospectively or be eligible for post transaction refund requests.

Patrons may also purchase accessible seating in person at the Crown Box Office, which is open Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.

What is the running time for MJ?

2 hours and 40 minutes including a 20-minute interval.

What is the latecomers policy?

We recommend you arrive at least 30-45 minutes prior to the show start time listed on your ticket.

Show times do vary based on the day of the week.

Out of courtesy to the cast performing, patrons arriving late will not be admitted into the auditorium until a suitable break in the performance.

Latecomers may not be seated in their ticketed seat, but in an alternate area nearer an entrance where minimal disruption will be caused to seated attendees. This is at the discretion of the venue staff.

Please note, no refunds are issued for patrons arriving late.

What is the recording policy?

Photography, video and sound recordings of any kind are strictly prohibited during the performance.

Casting Information

The producers cannot guarantee the appearance of any particular artist at any performance.

No refunds or exchanges will be offered as a result of an artist’s unavailability to perform at any performance.

Will there be accessible performances?

Sunday 28 June, 6.30pm will be an AUSLAN Interpreted Performance.
