HAIRSPRAY is a real treat, a musical masterpiece with a heartfelt message that actually says something important. The importance of embracing our differences and celebrating the special qualities that make us unique.

The romantic comedy of a dance-loving teenager, Tracy Turnblad, who has one dream: to dance on The Corny Collins Show. When her dream becomes reality, big-haired Tracy falls in love and finds friends in unexpected ways.

This bold new Australian production features the big-hearted, feel-good songs "Good Morning, Baltimore", "You Can't Stop the Beat", and many more.

Age Recommendation

The show is recommended for ages 8 years and up. All persons aged 16 or under must be accompanied and seated alongside an adult from the same ticket purchase.

Children's policy

Infants under the age of two years are admitted free, but must be seated on the carer’s lap for the duration of the performance and not occupy a seat.

In the event of your infant causing a disturbance, we ask that you temporarily remove the infant from the auditorium until they are settled.

Conditions of Entry

Conditions of Entry apply to all ticket holders and guests attending events at Crown Theatre. It is a condition of each ticket that at the time of attending Crown Perth for the event, each ticket holder must comply with the Western Australian Government’s directions and public health orders and Crown’s policies and procedures applicable at the time of entry. Unless otherwise required by law, refunds for tickets will not be provided as a result of changes to condition of entry.
