Culinary Apprentice Program

Crown Perth’s Apprentice Program officially launched in 2010 as an organisational initiative to develop rising culinary talent and bridge the skill gap in our Hospitality industry.

The 3 year program supports the vocational education of apprentice chefs by supplementing the classroom based learning with real, on the job experiences through regular kitchen rotations and technical master classes delivered by our Chef de Cuisine team. Each year the program culminates to a showcase, highlighting the creative skills, teamwork, leadership and comradery fostered throughout the year. This “earn while you learn” principle has created an accessible pathway for building a culinary career and raised the profile for Australian talent competing in international competitions.
