Meet the chef

Chef de Cuisine, Kwan Cheung

Chef Kwan travelled to Vancouver in the 90’s and frequented Chinese restaurants with friends. This is where his love for food and the desire to pursue a career as a chef began.

He then went on to acquire his cooking skills while working at a Chinese restaurant in his hometown Macau. Kwan commenced working at Silks in 2013 where he gained experience preparing banquets for over 2000 guests.

In 2019 he promoted to Chef de Cuisine. Kwan is honoured to lead the kitchen at Silks, offering a beautiful balance between traditional and new style Cantonese cuisine.

Special event pricing may apply during certain periods.
We do not split bills.
Bookings are essential and subject to availability.

We take note of your seating area preference, however table locations are not guaranteed and may be subject to change.
Your seats will be held for 15 minutes post your reservation booking time.
Patrons under 18 years of age must always be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Cancellation Policy

Credit card details are required to secure this reservation. No charges will be processed on your card at the time of booking. Should you wish to cancel or make changes, please contact us on 08 9362 7551 at least 12 hours prior to your reservation, or a cancellation fee of $50 per person will be charged to the card provided. For groups of 10 or more, we require at least 48 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee of $50 per person.

While Crown Perth will endeavour to accommodate requests for special meals for customers who have food allergies or intolerances, we cannot guarantee completely allergy-free meals. This is due to the potential of trace allergens in the working environment and supplied ingredients.
